When someone takes the time to watch your video, make sure you are thanking them! At the end of each video, it’s best to have a signoff that includes a thank you and where they can go to learn more. You can also ask them directly to subscribe to your channel to not miss any upcoming videos!
Interacting with your viewers gives them gratification and makes them feel valued. When someone comments, respond back! Even reading through comments can bring up questions or trends you haven’t thought about before, which you can take advantage of for your next video. Generally speaking, more comments correlate to more views on a video – so don’t post and then ignore your video!
Pre-recorded videos give you the most control, but live streaming instead can give you and your viewers new opportunities for engagement. If viewers can ask questions while watching your video, it gives you the opportunity to go into further detail and find out what viewers are most interested in on the topic you are covering. This can give you a path to follow for the remainder of your video, which in turn could lead to more viewers and subscribers.
